Welcome to Alpina Restaurant at Villa Eyrie Resort. The name “Alpina” stems from the stunning views surrounding us: the Finlayson Arm inlet, the rolling hills of the Highlands, and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains and Mount Baker. These views reminded us of the beauty of Lake Como, with the Alps in the distance. Our villa’s European-inspired architecture enhances this charm, setting us apart from the typical single-building resorts often found in North America.

When crafting our culinary offerings, it was natural to draw from this inspiration. With the expertise of Executive Chef Mario Gross, born and raised in Germany, our vision of authentic, European cuisine became a reality.

Dine in the Sky

Our menu takes inspiration from the rich culinary traditions of Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy, evolving constantly to offer authentic and honest dishes. Paired with fine wines from these regions and served with meticulous attention to detail, every meal is created with our guests in mind.
Whether you’re savoring a traditional German schnitzel, enjoying the deep flavor of Swiss dark bread, indulging in Italian pasta, or finishing with our table-side prepared tiramisu, we invite you to join us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Coming soon, we’ll introduce a special experience with table-side prepared parmesan wheel pasta. We can’t wait to welcome you to Alpina!

Reservations are strongly recommended prior to arrival.  Alpina Restaurant and its washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
